Graduating with a Bachelor of Economics and Political Science, Brian Joffe then undertook a Graduate Traineeship at Investec Bank Ltd. in South Africa. Brian migrated to Melbourne, Australia in 1986 and joined the stock broking firm North Ltd. He co-founded Shaw Stock Broking, one of Australia’s premier private client stock broking specialists in 1991. Brian sold his partnership in Shaw Stock Broking after 11 years and then founded a Derivatives and Options business, which he successfully operated until its eventual sale in 2005.
He subsequently formed Joffe Capital as its Founding Chairman, specializing in High-level Protected Equity Loans and advising on Capital-Raising and Structuring of Private Equity Ventures leading on to IPO or Trade Sale. Joffe Capital has offices in Singapore, Melbourne, Australia and San Jose, California.
Brian has acted in an advisory role for the Symstream Technology Group Ltd (an Australian Wireless Technology company) where he assisted the company to successfully raise over US $35 million dollars.
Brian is Executive Director for Strategy and International Development for Holophasec Technologies Ltd. He is responsible for Holophasec’s initial capital raising and financing, and has a strategic role to advise and assist in the development of the overall strategy for the company as it moves its unique technology into the International arena.
